About
An ecumenical coalition of Christians committed to education and justice.
Wisconsin Christians for Justice in Palestine is an ecumenical coalition of Christians from diverse denominations committed to educating our communities about the ongoing violence, oppression, and land confiscation experienced by Palestinians. Many Palestinian families have lived on this land for generations—long before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948—and today face displacement and intense pressure to surrender homes, farms, and neighborhoods. People are being treated as outsiders in the places they have long called home. We are advocates for justice in Palestine and Israel.
We reject violence in all forms and believe our faith calls us to speak clearly when human rights are violated. We urge the United States government to press for an immediate end to attacks on civilians, to uphold international law, and to use its influence to protect Palestinian lives and rights. We also oppose the use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund the Israeli military and to support policies or actions that harm innocent people.
